Jan. 22, 2011: Polymorphing, Planar Turning, and More
Polymorphing:
Just a few changes to polymorphing (from spells and feats). Polymorphing refers to the change made by the polymorph self spell, shapechange spell, and any Wildshape varients.
All polymorph forms should now be merging properties from armor, helm, shield, and other worn items onto the new form's "creature skin". Properties from held weapons are only merged for certain shapes (the list of which has not changed).
Polymorphing into a vampire or drow will make a character vulnerable to sunlight, just like a vampire/drow-subrace PC.
Additions slated for the next day or two:
Polymorph vampire forms gaining negative energy immunity, drow forms being seen as friendly by NPC drow, mindflayer form being seen as friendly by NPC mindflayers (same for some other forms/races). Demonic forms gaining immunity to negative properties of the Dark Realm.
Planar Turning:
Code rewritten to account for the addition of the "demon" and "celestial" racial types, and to remove Dead Stalker bonuses from the calculations for outsiders/demons/celestials.
Note: Demons will be more difficult to turn while in the Dark Realm (where they are native creatures) than in the material plane of Aenea.
and More:
By player request, a VC command to sacrifice remains while in an alternate form. This new command (;;tool sacrifice) will work whether polymorphed or not, performing exactly as if using the green sacrificial flame on yourself (a "mass sacrifice of remains").
Edited to remove mindflayers from the list of those that can be fooled by polymorphed/disguised PCs...the buggers are telepathic.

WOOOHOOO!
I also noticed the new VC sacrifice has a neat little VFX appearing right in front of my character (and when in dragon shape, the little orb of light appears up in the dragon's mouth!) Very cool!

Adding in a hidden skill check to fool NPCs into being friendly, along with additional code to handle lots of other appearances (for polymorphing/shifting/etc.).
Bluff check vs. DC
PC: Bluff skill ranks (plus modifiers/bonuses) + 1d20 + 5
DC: 5 + Challenge rating + Int mod + Wis Mod
(more powerful, smarter, and more intuitive NPCs are harder to fool)
Yes, finally a real use for the Bluff skill.

Aww... too bad about the mindflayers. No chance on a really smart'n'wise character being able to fool them, even if the checks required are insanely difficult?

I'd imagine you should be able to fool them but if, and only if, you can convince yourself that you are a mind flayer; and then..... I would have to kill you (or try, at least ) *Cringes, expecting a Hot-tub O' Death is approaching*
