Farstep Master
This prestige class is all about focusing on a certain type of magic and mastering it beyond normal means.
To me, the lack of caster levels is a travesty. It is a casting class... so it should grant caster levels (and spells per day if possible, but if not, then at least caster levels).
Currently it grants 3/4 BAB, so if caster levels were added, it would not be a full 1 per 1 caster level progression, it most likely would have to be 1 caster level per 2 Prestige class levels.
I think it would make more sense for Farstep Masters to get 1/2 BAB, and full 1 per 1 caster level progression.

Ooh, was browsing through the suggestion section for some other topic, but anyway. This hidden gem of a thread has become known to me, and as I currently got a character concept which intends to take all 10 levels of the Farstep master PrC solely for roleplay reasons. I do so whole-heartily agree with Dave's suggestion, it would make so much more sense that Farstep masters, as a spellcaster Prestige Class, gained less BAB per level, and more spell progression instead.

A change to the "spell available to cast" battery thing too...
Besides no casting levels, you gotta keep 1 casting of the relevant spells for the FSM abilities to function. It's just 1 spell slot... but then again, that's a spell slot. Particularly for Sorcerer FSMs... it can be a hassle.
It would seem to me, that if the class is so focused on teleporting, the relevant spells would be second nature... not "Oh, I don't have that slot of teleport memorized.... how does that ability go again?"
And....
I read that there's now a 9th level "teleport circle" spell... Is there any plan on incorporating that into the FSM's abilities too as part of their 9th or 10th level abilities?
