Reincarnation/Ascension and subraces

You know what would be totally awesome?

If players who reincarnate or ascend their PCs could select a different subrace for their character.

And a way for DMs to help other players who made a new PC with a subrace that they ended up not liking. A way for that player to change the subrace without losing the character's name, and having to remake the PC with some variation of the name, etc.

This is totally needed to really make it feel like a "fresh start" as per description. Being able to choose a diety and alignment again would be awesome too. It's a diffrent life, after all

That would be a nice touch.

I'd also like to see a way for a player to change their first level feat(s) choices, or even their 1st level class.  Not sure if leto can change the 1st level class, but it should be able to do the feats.

At 1st level, you got a very limited set of feats; racial feats, 1 to 2 weapon feats (class specific, or simple, or simple+martial), and a few class specific feats.  Antyhing not on the class/race feat list is obviously the 1st level feat and could be identified with a simple check.  The more complex check would be a way to offer the PC a choice of new feats based on their class plus their abilities.
