Impaler, etc.
I love the Impaler. So much so that I built one of my characters as a Valkyrie-ish sort, just to use it within RP. The Blazing Stick is pretty much standard on one of my other characters, due to its utility.
Are there any other weapons like these?
I've seen a few posts referencing a "Wizard's Familiar" is this still in the game?
If there aren't any others, is there any chance to add them? I like the fact that the two I know of are less-used weapons types, and I think that if more were to be added, that should remain the pattern (I.e. a sling, a mace, and maybe a few of the new weapon types that cant be focused or specialized)

Re: Impaler, etc.
There are only three such weapons in the game. Familiar is the third.
I have no plans on adding more.

Are we allowed to craft the Blazing Stick to look like a trout? Big ol' Monty Python scene up in here.

heh! As good as those weapons look on paper (so to speak), they will not best a well made Voucher item. Not saying they are not useful or valuable; simply not as good overall as a tailor made item of choice. IMO.

Oh, I'm well aware of the power a custom item can wield, but they take a LONG time to come to fruition. 32hrs on a single character gets you 140k. That doesn't end up amounting to as much as I'd like. And that is a big investment.

It can go by quickly. A regular party can make the time speed along.
