Save your echest often!!!

So I had an unpleasant occurrence happen while playing Fren last night.

I was feeling really good about the fact that I had made a bunch of progress towards my list of "scavenger hunt" items for upgrades over the last couple of days doing beholder runs.

Fren's inventory and loot bags were full so it was time to go to Arkon's.

A full inventory + loot bags takes about 60 minutes to sort and stash and just before I was done, I get booted from the server with no combat log message. The client just hangs and then gracefully closes itself with no error message after about 3 minutes.

I immediately log back on and run to Arkon's but the chest was no longer there and when summoned was missing all of the loot that Fren had just stashed, gathered from the previous two days.

I wasn't really concerned with anything besides my upgrade items (guesstimates based on recollection):

20 dragon blood
+3, +4 amulets of will
total of +12 rings of fortitude
2 Scrolls of Shivani's Bloodletting Blade
1 Bone ring

Moral: save your ethereal chest often by sending it back and forth... !!!

PS. Any chance a DM can help me restore my lost upgrade items? I don't really care about any of the other loot.

Yes, one of us can help you out if you catch us in-game. Don't know how much online time I'll have (the wife is off from work, which generally means more "productive" work offline), but I'll keep my eye open (and possibly lurk AFK as DM when I am around the computer).

I'll give a look-see here later, as well!

Bah! Talk about poor timing...

I looked at the server, saw you were logged in, logged in as DM, and you must have logged out in the 60 seconds it took me to walk up the stairs and log in.

I will catch you online and get these items replaced!

Actually I'm good, I've replaced nearly all of the items.
