World Quests Empty World Quests

Like the Prophecy quest which allows the new Player to travel Aenea in a way to defeat the end Boss, perhaps another questline or more could be added to attract story driven Players. While Aenea offers much in exploration and variations on items, there may be room for more stories apart from those granted by the occasional events.

A few of them starting off in other towns than the vale could be nice as well. Have a few quest lines in Macedone, one in Calithia, Tradeholm, ect. Dawnholm could use a bit of life and loving, that'd be a good place for some undead themed questlines.

before coming here I used to play on a server called Kharlindale.
They had 6 places you could start at and each one had 4 basic starter quests to get you going.
So having various quests set around the world seems like a cool idea

They could be set to a characters level so making them a decent quest no matter when you finally get to an area

I've been thinking about some quests involving the Thieves' Guild. We've been RPing some internal plots there, so I was keeping in mind how to make some kind of roguish city quests, since there's not much for rogues now. But I haven't had the inspiration to complete much of it.

If anyone has ideas for quests, please let's brainstorm them. A person doesn't have to know how to use the toolset to suggest a scenario for a plot conversation flow chain. Then someone who knows how to make a conversation can run with the idea. Thinking up the scenario is the hard part, so perhaps a thread could be started with quest ideas?

Just a couple ideas which came to mind this second...

@Macedone/rogue quests:
Bob and that dwarven shady character which appears at night at the docks could perhaps be incentives in a thief related quest line (which may or may not start at that tavern in dock district?)

@Calithia: The sun-loving drow and goblin in the slums could be the giver of quests of the more shady variant in the Caliph's Empire.

@World quests: Maybe a caravan-related quest line, or something, which takes adventurer(s) on a journey to the southern jungles of Aenea (Wildlands). I have always wondered, and searched thoroughly, multiple times, for a path leading to that part of Aenea...

Other ideas...

@Dawnholm: Vampire quests. (Both for hunters and predators Wink ) - Would be awesome if there was quests which gave historic references as to what happened in Dawnholm. Maybe there's even a secret guild of vampires which strive to take back Dawnholm and make it eternal darkness again?

@Rockholm/Nothern Wall: Dwarves vs Drow; underground battles. Could be something for both goodly adventurers and those taking the side of the drow (for whatever reason, be it money or whatever).

@Sylvan Realm: There's already a few quests which let you help the elves vs the orcish empire. More doesn't hurt (maybe a quest where adventurers are hired to bring supplies to the lone elven keep up near the rift?). Or something similar...

@Daramok: The city there is eerily quiet, maybe a quest or something which explains why? (Probably orc-related...but more specifics would be nice).

@Orcish Empire: For half-orcs/beastials. Some quests for the big bad evil! Twisted Evil Could be anything from bringing supplies or bully villagers/slaves in Orthik to more aggressive raids on southern/eastern lands or stealth-like missions into elven lands to kill an elven lord/lady or commander of the guards.

@Deathwater Isle and Ice Reaches: Expeditions which brings adventurers to said locations. Maybe to find a lost artifact, maybe to defeat a tribe of orcs/whatever. Or maybe bargain with the dragon to get something in return?


Just a few droplets of ideas. Hope it'll spawn to mind something or develop off-spring of ideas in YOUR mind! sunny

There's other creatures of the night in Dawnholm besides vampires Wink Would be a touch Underworld, but there's a lot of potential for were/vamp quests in that area, and quests for the mundane side too with the order of knights that rescured dawnholm way back when.

Caravans.... there's the travel wagons already in place for at least from Mtholm to Macedone.... that would be an excellent plothook for real world spanning world quests.
