Low level quests(a bit spoilerish)

Hi again. I've got a couple questions/suggestions for the low level quests around the vale...perhaps this is of not much importance but I feel I need to make a couple comments.

The anthill. I've cleared out the anthill with a few of my low level guys and I feel that perhaps there should be some loot to be gained down there? I don't expect individual ants to be carrying gold or items, but seeing as the ants are in general scouring the countryside, perhaps they could have picked up some shiny or useful items along the way and perhaps stored it in their dump? Or perhaps some gems or something while excavating? As it is, I don't feel any urge to go there with my new low level toons, as its not worth it. In addition, shouldn't there be some sort of mini quest set up? Help the farmer with the ant menace? Rescue the ranchers prize heifer that was carried off by the ants? Something?

Similar questions with regards to the goblins that have carried off the farmers daughter. They do drop some items along the way, (at least one of which is quite valuable), but perhaps some more loot in some chests or casks? Its hard to divvy items up when there is really only one valuable item gained. Could there be a named leader for the goblins? I'd also want to know why they kidnapped the daughter? Ransom? To eat her? Perhaps those goblins were ordered to do some terrorizing/kidnapping by another more powerful group of humanoids? (Leading to an investigation of those humanoids/evil cult/something else?)

I'm very new to aenea so I don't have much knowledge of the background of things, but sometimes I want a bit of a story, even in these low level areas. Some times I feel as if me and my group are just going around looking to murder humanoids in their homes

I'm not trying to come off as critical. I love this place. Just wanting to share some impressions and some suggestions.
I know they are of very high importance.

There is a quest for the ants. Go to the town hall and view the potings on the bulletin board in the back room. Type ;;quest help to get the commands for accepting any of the jobs.

I do agree however that there should be some loot... at the very least from a dead adventurer here or there.

I have suggested tying some of the quests together in a sort of storyline fashion, and even adding in branching paths to said storylines based on player's choices that can wind up associating the PC with different factions of NPCs.

As to the reasons for the quests, they are rather open-ended, so you can add your own reasons. Think of this as not a symptom of incompleteness, but as an opportunity for hooks to hang your own RP on.

When my toon rescued the farmer's daughter, it was a close call to get there before the child was eaten.... and what my ranger found in the stewpot made her even madder.....

And don't feel like suggestions are being critical ... you'd be surprised at the amount of suggestions that have made it into the world/made it a better place for all! Suggest away!

I can't seem to get any quest information in the town hall in the vale. Nothing seems selectable, and the aid simply says that the mayor is not accepting visitors.

Am I missing something here?

We have a new quest system, it's useable by vc commands.

I haven't explored it very much, but there's info on it here.

Thanks...I see how it is working. Works great, but it took me a bit to figure it out.
Probably also because I went right to the board in the town hall with the assistant standing next to it. Tab didn't make the other (correct) board as noticeable as I needed I guess. My oversight.

Since this system is fairly new, there might be relics of the old system, and tweaks necessary for the new.

User suggestions are always appreciated, and that thread would be a good place for feedback.
