New wanderer amulet?

So I accidently sacrificed my Wanderer's amulet. I tried talking to the old guy, and he didn't give me the quest again, then I spent an hour walking through the trackless path to find the valley again. The NPC just says "Welcome back wanderer". So I don't know how to get another amulet.

I believe that a DM's help is what you're looking for! Next time I'm online, I'll check for ya!

So, I tried to use the portal with the new amulet, and it isn't working Eric. I don't even see the glowing indicators leading me to the portal.

I don't know if my Magebreaker levels broke the amulet, or it is the amulet itself.

Oooh, that's an interesting issue ... let me run an experiment with another PC, and I'll have an answer for you (or if anyone is in the know, and wants to step up and 'splain) ...

I have a vague recollection of saying that mage breakers would be adverse to the gates. Not sure however.

Nah, the MB grip will remove the Haste spell, and the indicators for the gates won't show on the ground, but a MB can still utilize the gates just fine.

's comment was that a MB would refrain from using the gates, 'cos they're magical. Not that they couldn't. More of an RP decision.
