Jan. 3, 2018: The "holy crap I haven't posted in forever" post

Holy crap. I haven't posted in this part of the forum in forever. Probably because I've been pretty much an absentee builder since moving to Wisconsin. Sorry folks.

If anyone logs in after updating to CEP 2.63, you'll find a little addition added to basically every outdoor area. I added a little glowing marker (it looks like a compass rose with a slowly rotating map hovering over it) to make area transitions easier to find without having to mouse over the edges of maps looking for your exit. The transition triggers and doors are still there, but outdoor-to-outdoor exits are now much easier to find.

I've been getting back into the creating mood and drinking more caffeine again, so you can expect more random additions as the year goes on.

I've missed you guys. Getting a new PC rig up and running (soon), NWN/Aenea is on my to-install list for 2018 (As well as a host of other games).

Sorry for being absent for so long. Had a hell of RL for the last couple of years. Also currently jobless (Airforce Career ended by contract expired- 12years completed!), wifeless (she had been having an affair for the past 1.5yrs), childless (she won the court case in May) and soon to be homeless again (unless I can work some real magic with my current landlord)... plumeted into a world of depression, lonelyness and with a touch of suicidal thoughts.

HOWEVER... 2018... WILL be a better year. My biggest Christmas present.. access rights to my children every other weekend (as long as I can keep my current abode)... and so I do hope that I can get back into "being me" (which I lost sometime around 2015, not really sure who "I am" anymore... but getting back one of MY hobbies that I was denied enjoyment in is a good start)...

Not looking for any sympathy or dwelling on the past etc. Currently have a simple tablet with wifi semi-stolen from next door.. but it's a start! Re-connecting with the world... with MY world....

Just hope I can remember all my Aenea Passwords etc, it's been soooo long... Glad you guys are still around

My family has been busy with shedding our material possessions, as we move to Hawai'i in 5 1/2 months.  As you can imagine, it's pretty time-consuming ...

@Rusty - if there is anything I can do, or that you need, please ask. I will do whatever I can. You are a good person and you got shafted pretty hard, and you deserve better.

@Eric - I am sure its a lot of work, but once you complete that move, imagine how nice and how much fine it will be there. I won't lie, I'm a little jealous (only a tiny bit). Congrats!

Hey, , I just wandered around a bit, and saw those marker things .... they are sweet sweet sweet!  Good job, and glad to see you back in the creator's saddle!
