Games for the Sleeping Dragon Inn
Since certain subraces tend to get stuck indoors, and often enough the Dragon inn.... I had an idea. Kind of inspired by Fable. All the inns had an NPC who ran bar games of sorts. Blackjack, card matching, shove a ha'penny, ect.
It would pass the tedium if perhaps there was a card dealer NPC running a little sham, er, game of chance in the more popular inns, and not just for sunlight adverse subraces, but for anyone hanging out in the inns.
Could even have him keep a record of high scores for players to compete with eachother in a way. Perhaps games could include card games, games that tested stats (dex based or strength based games (like maybe darts or an arm wrestler)).

Maybe add a dartboard? Pretty sure theres a dartboard placeable. Maybe make how close you are to the bullseye is dependant on the 1d20 attack roll?

Hmm, I played "Liar's Dice" in A Dance With Rogues, pretty sure the scripts are on the vault, it was single player only though I think, great game though!

Re: Games for the Sleeping Dragon Inn
I glanced through the vault earlier today myself. Found a couple minigame prefabs and demos. One was MP poker game, looked like it could be very well done, but required two players, so I couldn't actually test it out. It worked with the chatbar, which made me think instantly of the VC system.
Another spin-off idea... perhaps also decks of cards and dice players could take with them to play games when out on the road or such (dice bag prefab comes to mind, haven't seen one of those in a module for ages)... with a possibility for more rogueish types to have loaded dice, or trick decks, where there'd be a skill check vs the trickery.
Perhaps a way to incorporate the bluff skill into a poker-like game as well vs a search check or wisdom/intelligence check (to determine if the person is bluffing by what they say/determine by calculating the odds of playing having the better hand).
It would definitely be best to only be slightly influenced by stats/skills though, so everybody can have a chance to have fun with it despite the focus of their build.

Re: Games for the Sleeping Dragon Inn
Dice and betting are in (and have been for several weeks now). They use the VC system.
You can place bets on anything and the very basic betting system will keep track of the bets.
Cards and other games are planned.
You need a dice bag to make bets, even if not actually using the dice commands.

Great stuff
Already got some bluff and pickpocket on Angie... now just to use the old man's releveler and reallocate some of his skill points around. Might take then outa lore. Think 43 lore + 40th lv bardic lore is a little overkill anyhow
