Player Housing (Dec. 2008)
I've got two player houses I'm currently working on fitting into the game module. These may take a few more days, since I have to check area transitions, triggers, doors, and something else...what was it again...let's see...oh, yeah...placeables.
For future home decorating, please limit yourselves to 100 or so total placeables. Yes, they add detail, but too many in an area swell the module size and slow the server a bit whenever anyone is in a placeable-crowded area (yes, even when 99% of the placeables are set to static).
I imported Crideas' and Berenice's newer places and the module file itself jumped 1.5 mb in size.

In my experiences you can get a new house (or redesign your own one) by carefully saving up 500,000 again, creating your new house and putting the idea/area forward to . He will then consider the changes, and your reasons, and the implications of your changes, and then add all the Aenea goodness that he adds (such as food stores, alters, minor descriptions, lab/workshop/library area's)... once he and you are happy he'll then add your new house and remove/update your old one...... .... the process may take time and patience and will likely be a on the backbench to bug-squishing / new additions / hak updates / major game changes.... though it may take some time, it will be considered... I believe nicely views it as "it's your house - if it needs changing, okay".... the good thing to remember is it's your house, but it's 's world .... ....

For a house re-design, you don't have to save up the 500,000 gp again. Just if you want a main (non-temporary) house key for another of your characters.
Re-designs do take a bit lower priority than initial house additions, and the complexity (number of doors, triggers, placeables, etc.) can add time until it gets put into the game.
