Not Used: Change for the Better
I was wondering if a toggle could be done to allow the proper changing of clothes at rest periods?
The PC could load which clothes would switch out with each other, and make it easier for the character to get dressed and undressed. Then from the quickslot or item already in place, the switch could be done. While this can be done with two quickslots currently, these are limited and oft used it seems; and sometimes forgotten. And this might aid those Players with less mental acuity than their virtual counterparts to start the day in armor rather than their pajamas....
Or maybe add a toggled auto-switch at Rest and end of Rest?
AFAIK, clothing cannot be switched during combat, so this may prevent any exploits.
Thanks!

Re: Not Used: Change for the Better
I think maybe characters putting back on the last euipped item before rest would be better idea. Simply putting on your last clothing, armor, shield, or weapon would allow a character to rapidly be equipped with their items, and since you wouldn't have gone through all the trouble scavenging thrue your backpack(s) to find your item, it would make more sense than choosing a favorite.

Re: Not Used: Change for the Better
I think some people might like the thought of not sleeping in the nude/underwear, especially when in the common room of the Sleeping Dragon or out on the road. And with the overrides some players have for their game, seeing others sleeping minus armor/clothing is a bit too much exposure for their taste (although I wonder why they have such overrides if they didn't want to see such things).
For now, I've set the game to automatically un-equip anything held when your start sleeping, then re-equip the same items upon waking.
As far as other equipment (such as armor), I'm leaving that up to individual characters to remember to remove or don, since it's a choice to stay in armor or not (and will become a more important choice in the future, as I am planning on adding in the possibility of random sleep-triggered encounters (to represent the danger of just plopping down a bedroll in the middle of a dungeon or wilderness).

Did I hear someone say something about my *special and revealing* overrides?
Mwhahahahahaha! I've got screenies! Just ask MannyJabrielle!
I prefer going commando, instead of that gosh-awful flour-sack underwear crap that BioWare strapped us with! It's as nature intended (which is absolutely ludicrous, considering that it all exists in silicon chips and electric impulses! The Amethyst Dragon wrote:(although I wonder why they have such overrides if they didn't want to see such things).
Woohoo! "M" rating stickers for everyone!

Hehe, sleeping in armor isn't too bad....
Just make sure you're not so very near to death though... I've actually "died" from sleeping in armor right after coming out of limbo.. hehe.
