Used: Mystic Forge Directions

These may already be in place, but if not they are sorely needed.

Aargyle and Fianon's Elf were at the forge to get his shield upgraded from +1 to +5. All I was told that I recall was that it would take a sacrifice of the needed component. So I placed 10 of them into the Forge, as well as my Fortress shield. Then when the next line of dialogue appeared, my fears were realized that both the gems and the shield had been consumed.

Now Aargyle had a second shield found and stored in case of rusties, but due to the trial and errors, this upgrade ended up costing 60 of the rare components and one of the better shields I have seen in the game.

Could the Dwarves have a big sign with exact directions placed next to this Mystic Flame?

Not particularly fun when a system seems to suggests doing something a certain way and it costs you a very rare item because of such.

Oooh, snap!

Any Blood of Magic gems that you place in the forge flame will be converted to points and SAVED as long as they are NOT USED.

So the 10 you put in initially would still be available the next time you activate the forge flame as long as you didnt use those points (though you do have to put in at least one more blood to activate it each time).

As for the loss of the item, I can refund it when I see you next.... the forge flame can only target items you have currently EQUIPPED for its enchancement.... so I definitely agree it would be helpful to have a warning that you should not put any items in the flame except the blood of magic gems... and that you must have the item you want enhanced currently equipped on your PC.

More importantly where is the forge, I can never find it, must have got the wrong end of the stick.

I am not too proud to evade that offer, as it was a kind gesture that placed the original shield into Aarg's hands in the first place. And that shield type does seem kinda rare; have only seen three since joining and I own two.

What I need help with more currently is how this consuming device is to work with prophetic items, cause I do not wish to lose any of those.

And look in the Temple Halls for the door in the N/E corner; the one leading down. It may be easy to find cause all the other doors in the place appear to be locked.

You may want to take the Silver Mooon ship and sail over to steam bay / or silverbay (I forget which) to get to Forge in the first place.... ...

Steam Bay is up in Icereach, Silverbay is Dwarf Country

The consuming device in question... IE the mystic forge flame.... is NOT the same thing as the Great Forge.
To find the Great Forge, you need search further... in unlikely places where your faith will be tested.
