Website updates

Hail All...

Was thinking of Re-incarnating another of my PC's (Shouri) sometime soon... went looking for the relevant info... not stickified anywhere, and not in any major topic title.. also not found on the website.... now I may be being completely blind and just not seeing it, but can someone point it out to me ?....

If I'm not blind and it isn't there can we get a section stickified in the FAQ about Re-incarnation/Ascention (with the current rules and what works/doesn't work~>will work) .... or a bit added into the Rules&Info // Classes section of the webpage...

Also noticed that although the classes section of the webpage has all the Aenea prestige classes it mentions nothing of semi-classes... I think it should ...


I'm thinking this way because building a character in Aenea isn't just about three class choices... it's also about what race and subrace, diety, classes (including the extra PrC's & semi's),book ability increases, reincarnation and ascention options (and maybe even a "mid-life re-level crisis").... ... and thats before we stark to think of FULLY customiseable PC appearance/armour/heads&helms/tattoo's/hair&skin colours/weapons/bio's/portraits.....

I'd also like to hand out some thanks to for all the options players here get, for what to be able to do with your "own" PC.... when I first joined there wasn't any where near as many choices as we have now ... .... ...

.... .... ..... but I wonder, do new Players/PC's feel totally overwhelmed by the sheer volume and wealth of new stuff in Aenea when they join now?.. To me personally it was a steep learning curve back then (but I was new to NWN on-line and on-line gaming in general), I wonder what it's like now to a complete new player?? ... I think I was lucky in coming here to "learn the ropes" when I did... (and I had two excellent teachers too, for both on-line NWN and on-line gameplay rules in general ~you know who you are ~) .. and now we have some great NWN (and Aenea) explanation threads, can we do anything else to help new players to the game/world or do you think we are still doing enough ?...

Anyway enough of my rambling, 3hrs of non-stop child-screaming can really mess with your head (he's now asleep, but I can STILL hear it echoeing around, nearly 45 minutes later!!)...

Personally, no. I wasn't new to NWN and learning the ropes of Aenea felt rather natural and smooth, making it fun. Granted, this wouldn't have necessarily been so if not for the help of certain players. Thanks guys

speaking of website updates - all of the deity symbols on the main website still highlight as Asis

Also, the two downloads for the ACP-CEP stuff that MannyJabrielle made are not working via the links. Save Target as only came up as an HTM file.

I cannot reproduce either issue on my PC.

I get two 7zip archives from the download links, and they contain the files for the model overrides....

As for the deity symbols.... I am not sure where you are seeing that.... when I browse the deities, they each have disctinctly different symbols.

I've tried to get the downloads myself and just get a very long page of what i assume is html script

They have the right symbol, but mousing over it, it says "Asis" for every one of them.

Gundail... right click on the links and choose the "save target as/save link as" from the menu.

If you still can't get it to download, PM me your email. Both files are a meg or so, so mailing them isn't a problem
