Not Used: Voucher Possibilities

It sounds as if the new dragon pets being added to the characters may be needing equipment. Perhaps adding some Aenean standards for these growing wyrms would be a decent thing. Plus, never too young to start a horde.

This is a great idea, custom items for the dragon companions

If anything would present a barrier, I think it will be module resources... I believe we have -or will have soon- close to 200 custom item blueprints in the palette already. I think the custom items can be shunted into haks, but from what I remember, there is still a total hak resource limit... not sure how close we would be to that.

Still, in the meantime, its a definitely workable possibility to collect the best of the in-game gear and then do gathering quests to have the dwarf or the maker upgrade it for your bestest little buddy

Perhaps to avoid spending Tech resources, what if the Voucher price simply went into some kind of buff/boost for the drake? In other words, rather than have to make a Collar of Cold Resist, simply (if it is simple) make that dragon cold resistant. Use effects and abilities that are in the currently available for beasties, and will need to be activated by .

Or maybe, there is a small pile of coins placed in the special housing areas of certain estates? And if these estates are ever made raidable at any point, there is some ready made loot, if they live thru the Player made encounters of the homes; dragonlings included.

This is a gold sink that could be fun in making the wyrms and maybe the homes a little sturdier, and more immersive in the game.

As long as the 'raidable houses' thing was optional by player choice, I wouldn't mind

As for the direct boost of the dragon, it would be nice to skip over any toolset work(provided you need to use a custom item top get what you want). I think intended for the dragons to only be able to get 3 boosts ever (one belt, one amulet, and one ring), so as long as the 'static' boost used one of those 'slots' up, it would work.

heh! The estate raids would have to be Player approved, as very few had open access last time I visited. I had originally thought of making the burrow of Barnabas into such a place once the defenses were up and going, but the Eternal stairwell did not make it.
