Player Reward Items and Character Level

I've been here over a week now, and I've been getting all these reward chests for certain number of hours played. I have been mostly taking the free levels and gold. Well, I recently got my chest for 16 hours, and I decided to try the custom item worth 40k gold. After reading about it on the forum, I opened the toolset and started to make my item. First of all, I must thank RustyDios for that great step by step guide, as I never even tried the toolset before. I decided to make a robe with +5 ac, and +1 regeneration. The price was just over 38k gold, so I decided to save it, and export it into an erf.

I looked it over again to be sure everything was ok. That's when I noticed that it said item level 14. I am thinking it means I need to be level 14 to use the item. Well, my character Rosalee is only level 8. Do the custom items use the same restrictions as the normal items? I am wondering if the reward chests are expecting characters to be high enough level to be able to use the custom item. At the rate I am going, I will get the 32 hour chest before I can use the custom item from the 16 hour chest. The server is pretty hard for me, and I am having trouble gaining more xp than I lose everytime I die.

Before I send the email with my item, I would like to know if I can use it, or if not, can I exchange the item voucher for something else? Is it possible to make an item for 40k that a level 8 character can use? Maybe a different item would work better.

The level shown can be ignored. Aenea uses a custom item level restriction script, which does not apply to the reward voucher items. You'll be able to use it when you get it.

I'm not sure if I will be on tonight, but I will send a tell the next time I see you. I am assuming you mean the monk shop in Macedone. I have been there, but I can't remember which robes I can use from that shop, since some of the items are monk only.

If you can make one of the robes +5 ac that I can use at level 8, then I would be happy to discuss a price. Would you have any suggestions for the 40k voucher, if I buy the robe from you?

I noticed that there is no invisible option for crafting cloaks. If I make a cloak for my custom item, can I use the no appearance (invisible) option?

Nope. All cloaks in Aenea are visible.

Will that affect the subraces with wings? I saw the screenshot of the colourful wings, so I thought of making an elf with those wings, but I'm not sure if I will see the cloak or the wings.

You should see both, wings and cloak... the wings might "poke through " the cloak if you don't get a good cloak appearance though.... ...

I will suggest the mantle's and "wings of flying" cloak being ideal cloak appearances for winged beings... but hey, it's your PC, you can do what you want with it ..........
