Oct. 6, 2010: Undersea Addition
Explorers can now check out a new small undersea area. You can find it be first going to where the dead of Macedone are buried. Bring your swimwear!
Most of the encounters in this new section should change at least a bit every time you visit, since I added some randomness in their spawning.
Also, magic staves found in loot and shops should now have the proper new appearances. Existing staves might look a bit odd until I can script in a way to quickly update the ones that aren't "in the palette" of item blueprints (such as staff of the magi or staff of command). I'm going to start work on adding the ability to modify staff appearances in-game in the next day or two.

Yes. I've overwritten the default NWN staves (and some CEP ones) with new models and icons. 190 new top parts, 110 new middle parts, and 90 new bottom parts (some of which are "whole staff" designs that look good only with a "blank" top and middle).Kefrem wrote:New staves?

Some of the "whole" bottoms look good even with middle and/or top parts. I'm redoing Aurora's whip as the snake staff with a globe under it's head, and it looks pretty nice.

Oh, , and on top topic of staves... Alastair's walking stick still looks as always for me in-game, but I noticed in the toolset, that particular model isn't there anymore, but the erf of the staff still works (the parts are just listed as flat out blank, not 0, nada). Was it removed intentionally? It was a very nice model I think (the wooden walking sticks with ivory or metal caps, and a bit of magical looking scribbles around it)

Re: Oct. 6, 2010: Undersea Addition
It depends on the part numbers. I might have to do an extraction of that CEP model set and combine them into one appearance for a ham addition.
