Partially Used: Racial Type: Demons and Outsiders
Been having this tossing about in my brain for a while....
While the new racial type is a good idea, I can think of two classes that can be jipped out of class related feats. Clerics with planar turning, and rangers with favored enemy: outsiders and Bane of Enemies.
I don't have any clerics who meet the requirements for planar turning yet (it's a rather hefty investment), but I have taken my ranger into the darkrealms before I relevelled her... she had FE:Outsider and bane... and it had no use with the demon racial types. From what I read up on the wiki, the ranger feats are hardcoded so I don't think a new FE could even be added... although the cleric turning can be rescripted I assume to take into account the feat and the new racial type...
So... could by chance only the big bosses be tagged "demon" while the run of the mill balors, soulbornes, fraxis, ect... they be reverted back to outsider? It would make sense that the "Baddest of the Bad" would be something beyond normal, while the common baddies would be subject to FE/Bane/Planar turning.

My cleric takes Planar Turning; it's designed specifically for Turning after all, though reincarnation put a temporary stop to that.

Re: Partially Used: Racial Type: Demons and Outsiders
Suggestion Sort of Used.
Altering the coding for Planar Turning so that it will properly account for Demons and Celestials after the next module update.
Favored Enemy and Bane of Enemies are hard-coded and can't be changed. I'll just say these don't work against demons and celestials because such beings aren't native to Aenea (the prime material plane of Aenea anyway) and are rarely found outside the Dark Realm or Celestial Heights, so rangers wouldn't have the opportunity to study them for the extended lengths of time needed to develop special skills to exploit the weaknesses of such creatures.
