It's suppose to be online and co-op but I'm not exactly sure if it will be free; I hope so. It isn't a MMORPG so it shouldn't be to horrible. It will allow for adventure creation. Let's hope for persistant worlds.

It doesn't look like it will have any functionality for PWs (nor for single-player module creation).

From what I've read and from videos I've watched (trailers and stuff from E3), people will be able to make "adventures" and "quests" (even laying out some areas), but it looks like at best they'll have to get approved and then will be added into the "official" online game...no modification of creature or item stats or anything like that, or addition of user-made content.

Does not look anything like a replacement for our good old NWN. I'm starting to think there will not be another game with this level of customization/personalization/flexibility for at least a couple more decades.

It also uses the 4.0 ruleset...
