boots of crafting and staves Empty boots of crafting and staves

is it possible to craft magic wizard staves? not quarter staves....the other ones with the skulls and orbs and claws and such. Since the update i came back and all my unique staves are all funky and fubar and bonelike.

I tried the boots but they dont work. Sad

Looks like I forgot to include the newer wizard staves in the crafting code. I'll add it to my list for this week.

actually ad when i clik the boots with any magic staff readied...there isnt even a conv. line to clik.

Correct. Back when I first coded the boots, wizard staves were just clunky looking magical items, usually held just long enough to activate before being put away again. I've redone the models for all the old BioWare staves, plus added a bunch more, so I need to add the ability to craft their appearances to the boot coding.

I'll have to edit that coding anyway, since I'm also working on overhauling all of the other weapon models. I've got the chain weapons done and in-game (they needed some serious attention after all these years), and I'm about 95% of the way finished with the axes (just need to make new icons for battle axes and double axes).

Question - are you going to be hitting all the weapons, or just the more used ones? Personally, I'd love to see a variety in kukri blades, myself.

For the weapon upgrade/overhaul? Yes for all of the different weapon types (standard ones anyway, probably not CEP weapon types). Chain weapons were first just because they needed serious attention. Axes next simply due to order in the game palette.

As far as the staves go, I need to revamp some of their inventory icons now that I've learned why some are still showing the old icons in-game. I'll do that when I reprocess the icons for the chain weapons and axes in the next day or so.
