Limited Computer Time: Feb. 26 - Mar. 6

I'm going to be spending most of my time offline for a little while. My parents are flying in and will be staying here for a little bit to visit with their eldest kid and his offspring. Haven't seen them in a year and a half, so it'll be good.

I'll still check the forum every couple of days when I get a few spare minutes, and will check on the server every once in a while to make sure it's still up and running, but will be AFK.

Be sure to hit Monti's steakhouse in Phoenix; used to have homemade muffins and bread with the meals on Sunday's, and sources say that prices have been kept reasonable. Best steaks I had in AZ; maybe best West of Mississippi River!

I'm back, sort of. Sent the folks off at the airport after a too-short week.

Now I'm reading the backlog of forum posts. And I started the daunting task of both recoding the "item appearance crafting" scripts and going through all the weapon (and now shield!) appearances and updating 2da files to match up with the thousands of Reforged models.

Holy crap, I've been at this NWN thing a long time. Just looking for my original appearance crafting 2da files, stumbled on notes I'd saved regarding some other minor things I wanted to add to the game...

...they're from August 2011, and it doesn't seem like those notes should be that old...I remember typing them up.

And in the same folder, I've got notes from June of 2009 about tradeskills. I'm feelin' old...

Yeah; when I realize that I have been posting about NWN prior to 2001, was actively lobbying for improved 3E Rangers in the game, and waited anxiouly for the release, it really causes aging pains.

.... .... .... And my son turns 5 this year ..... ( see here).... which is making me feel old too

Still, it has been a blast to share half a decade of my life with you fantastic people !! Lets bring on another 5 more !!
