Partially Used: About the mounts..

I can't help but wonder if we could purchase a whistle or some sort with the horse, or even spend a bit more money to purchase a summonable horse, because I hate nothing more than riding out to the boonies, making my way 10 floors down into a dungeon, then teleporting out with the inevitable "do'h" after remember the horse parked outside.

That is an excellent idea - and although I don't use horses, I can see your logic behind it. The nice thing about Aenea is that regularly prowls teh forums and is usually quite open to suggestions such as these.

And if you ever need anything while in-game, give a shout - there are usually one or two of us lurking about, or even playing!

The easiest way to get a summonable horse is of course to get 5 levels of paladin, failing that I agree that the horse seller dude should sell a way to summon a horse that is no longer in the party (due to a "Mounts are not allowed in this area and will be left behind message", which forces them out of the party ((so that the "Call companions" Item can't even bring them to you)) )...
.. I'll also second the idea for a fully summonable horse, maybe a new spell on a scroll for summoning horses... or a quest starting with the horse selling dude... for an item/artifact that creates a horse for say 24 hrs.... ..
