Perks for the non-monk fist fighters
So, it seems that non-monks applying crystals to gloves don't get damage boosts, but rather damage resistances.
Which I think is OK for the most part.
However, I found this out myself after my Fighter/IH/Animator tried to boost his gloves. He's a fist fighter, took the Improved Unarmed combat feat and other related unarmed feats.... but he can't boost his own gloves with crystals simply because he's not a monk.
So....
My suggestion is... change it so getting damage boosts on gloves from crystals isn't dependent on *monk* levels, but rather the improved unarmed combat feat (which monks get for free, and everybody else has to take as a general feat/fighters as a general or as a fighter bonus feat).
And also... open up the unarmed combat styles to monks (level 2, as currently is) and anyone else who's taken the improved unarmed combat feat.
Think this is reasonable given that non-monks have to burn a feat to get improved unarmed combat. The crystals on gloves thing really isn't a huge "class only" feature I think, and the combat styles do not add any mechanical advantage, they're purely aesthetic, and it would be a nice perk for non-monk fist fighters of train in unarmed combat (take the feat).

Re: Perks for the non-monk fist fighters
That is a really good way to solve the non-monk fist fighter problem... ingenious thinking MJ !
Should be an easy thing to swap too, depending on how has coded the system... instead of checking for Class(Monk) it looks instead for Feat(FeatID)....
