I like the goblin knights, however, for the real low-lowbies (levels 2 to 7), even just the one goblin knight is perhaps too tough. Could that spawn be modified to have regular goblins and shamans spawn at first, then graduate to knights? I've had a single goblin knight slaughter PCs of mine as high as 7th level with relative ease. Good tough encounter for a situation like the tradeholm troll-bridge... not so much for the one road out of the vale lowbies traverse.

Having just met one of these goblin knights and being subsequently killed by it (my PC is level 2), I have to agree with Manny. All of my uber-lowbie PCs are afraid to leave the Vale now.

Higher levels running through spawn them and leave them.

They spawn off as low as level 2 as well though.

Try travelling by day instead; then no knight spawns..... Very Happy
