Liches invisible despite my True Seeing
My wizard has been under the Sands lately destroying liches for their footwear.
Every once in a while there's a lich or two that are invisible despite the fact that my wizard has True Seeing via an upgrade on her gear. In this circumstance I've been having to use AOE spells to finish them off, as they never become visible. I don't think they cast any spell to become invisible, I just find that after I've finished off several that I thought were there, there's one or two left, invisible, only detectable by aura circles.
I'm curious as to what's going on here. I didn't know that there was anything that could hide from True Seeing. Unless this is what Sanctuary/GS looks like when it's used against a PC? Although I'd thought that if this were the case, a spawning hostile would have to cast a spell as soon as they spawned (i.e., not be spawned with a GS spell active), and so I'd be able to see them disappear from the group.
Is this a bug, or is there an explanation?

Re: Liches invisible despite my True Seeing
It's a game glitch/bug which happens every now and then with creatures/npcs* - something about their environment mapping? not fully loading or something; I can't recall the technical answer to it, but the solution is rather simple:
1) Make use of AoE spells to kill them off.
---Or feats such as Great Cleave if there's more enemies near the hostile invisible creature. Something which doesn't really work if you're just fighting a single foe/alternatively could get up close to it and hope for the auto attack feature to kick in and kill it off that way.
2) My personal choice as it solves the problem 99% of the time and sometimes the first option isn't the most feasible; Use an area location to change area and then enter the area again.
---The alternative to that is a quick login/logout of the server. Using an area transition is much easier and faster though.
Hope that explains it well enough.
It's not a bug specific for the liches under the Sands or Aenea either for that matter. I have seen it happen on other servers and even singleplayer on occasion.

Re: Liches invisible despite my True Seeing
Now that I think of it, I have seen this happen elsewhere a few times, random rare instances. The liches were doing it practically every other visit.
I'll use that transition method, then, especially when my AOE spells run out!
Thanks a bunch, I really appreciate the clarification, AoD!
