There's a number of scripts on the vault that have arrow/bullet/bolt/thrown weapon recovery. Could we get something like that here?

With the everfull ammunitions now costing per stack, this puts archers at a HUGE disadvantage to meleers, and I'm not thrilled about it.

My one archer is at 7 attacks per round, and she'll go through a stack of 99 arrows in less than 9 rounds.... or 1.4 minutes. For 1 hour of fighting, she'll have to shell out close to 100K. Which really completely totally sucks.

I don't want to have to farm GP just to make sure I can enjoy my regular adventuring. Nobody does. It's the equivalent of meleers having to pay 1600 gp per 2 minutes to have their sword or armor repaired. Sure it's realistic, but it sucks gameplay wise.

If we could recover missiles/thrown weapons from slain baddies, that would GREATLY reduce the burden on archer/chucker PCs. Most of the scripts I've seen will only allow recovery of arrows that have actually -hit-, and a couple of them could add a percentage variable to those (75% of arrows that hit would be recoverable, the other 25% would be too damaged to recover). There would still be need to refill from the quiver every so often due to missed shots/broken missiles, but this would be FAR better than shelling out 100K per hour. Thrown weapons could probably have a higher recovery rate, as they're not as fragile as bolts/arrows.

And we still have no everfull axe casks, or dart satchels, or knife parcels. Not complaining, just wondering if those might be possible for those of us who would like to pursue a career as a thrown-weapon character.

The auto-replenish of the everful ammo stacks is great compared to how it was before... but I agree with Manny.... farming is tedious.... its a playtime toilet.

Mayhaps we could simply have the cost of the auto-replenish adjusted to account for some of the arrows being "recoverable"?

I like this idea. While being able to recover my arrows would at least lessen the sting of having to pay for replenishment, it'd still add a bit of unwanted tedium, methinks.

When i return i plan to start focusing with spyder in the thrown dagger talent(shuriken i take it) so yea...having to contantly buy/make 1.355654 trillion a day would suck Sad Be nice to have a way to get some back.

I will say the throwing weapons are much better now that magic weapon/greater magic weapon work on them. Granted heavy use will be more a caster thing than pure meleer (or carrying around a complete horde of greater enhancement rods)... I keep forgetting to check if the fire/acid/ect spells work on throwing axes/darts/shurikens as well
